yves behar residence
ROLE: DESIGNER, MANAGER, ONSITE LIAISON
I was lucky enough to create/collaborate with Yves on 4 collections of textured metal panels that live on the front facade, entryway, walls, and cabinetry of his family home in San Francisco.
Each of the countless panels are 1 of 1 and mate with their corresponding neighbors seamlessly around bends, creating forms that one cannot help touch.
Inspired by natural phenomenon such as the erosion of stone, rippling of water, and light passing across dunes, we then abstract these gestures in order to retain just their essence.
